Reflection- Class Discussion on Health-care

Today's class discussion on health care was pretty interesting. Hearing every one's point of view on this situation was informative, personal, and deep if I must add. I noticed some of us tended to disagree on whether health care is a privilege or a right, but we all seemed to be on the same page that our country does need to take change for the better because our health care is Sh!T. We also discussed how this health care reform is confusing to America, which results in the people becoming against it. Another point that we targeted which was memorable to me was the fear that Americans have about this [low-key] Socialist bill being passed, with the idea that the next step up from being Socialist, is Communism. . .'oh gosh forbid that ever happen' (lol). Obviously it wont but the republicans seem to making up all these white lies to get into the peoples head. Just because we want to adapt a beneficial health care system from Communist countries per-say, it does not mean we will become the next China. Well i personally hope that we have another class discussion dealing with health-care because after today I'm sure that I'm not going to be the only one researching health care in depth more, because like palo said we will definitely generate more questions.
